But let’s not jump the gun and make the introduction first.
Cochise is a new rising star on fruitful Lyon DJ scene. Funny enough the name Cochise is rooted back in Native Americans history; to be precise it’s a name of one of the leaders of Apache uprising back in 1860s (oh wow!).
We don’t believe in magic, but seems like this old tribal name influenced somehow the whole tone of the music.
The sound embraces everything : it’s mysterious, almost hypnotizing with its rich multilayer rhythms and beats structure giving a very particular landscape for each and every track.
Listening to Cochise make you feel like being surrounded by deep waters in permanent move : sometimes going away but then coming back to smash you back to the bank. This is one of those rare elegant mixes of techno and house which keeps you dancing the whole night long.
Definitely there should be some of that old Indian bewitchment in it, but better check it yourself. So welcome our hottest EP of the month with 4 awesome tracks in it.
